Hello neighbors – here’s my mid-monthly update for January 2019 of things going on around Superior.
Boulder Creek Builders will be starting grading work on the Lanterns Lane Development in North Rock Creek this month. This development will be on the Anderson Property located west of 88th street, south of US-36, and north of Rock Creek. This development was considered by the Board during the summer and approved on August 27, 2018 and will include 31 duplexes (62 residential units). I’ve included a map of how the development will look once it is built (with exception of the road connection of Promenade Drive from Downtown Superior to 88th, which was tabled by the Board for consideration at a future date).
As many of you have noticed while traveling on McCaslin, construction vehicles have begun work on the Rogers Farm development (West of McCaslin @ the Roundabout near Downtown Superior). As I mentioned last month, this development will include single family homes on 26 platted lots, which were platted and zoned back in 1903. Because building single family homes is a “use-by-right” pursuant to the existing zoning, there is no requirement that the developer submit a land use application for the Board’s consideration.
At this week’s Town Board meeting, we will be considering a land use application from Remington homes on Block 25 in Downtown Superior. This development will contain 18 single family homes and 57 townhomes. As with all hearings on land use applications, we look forward to hearing from the public during the public comment portion of the public hearing on this application.
I hope everyone’s 2019 is off to a great start! If you have any questions or comments, please let me know.
